My name is Kristen and I have type 1 Diabetes. Contrary to what many people may think, this is not because I ate too much candy.
You'd think that having diabetes would be enough motivation on its own to force me to eat and live healthy, but since my diagnosis two years ago, little has changed (except my ever increasing, insulin induced weight gain).
Recently married and hoping to start a family, I have re-committed myself to getting back on the right track. This blog is intended as a way to keep myself accountable to a healthier lifestyle.
